Anagha Bhat is a Hindustani classical vocalist based in Bengaluru, India.
​​
She is a disciple of Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar, one of India’s most distinguished musicians and has previously been a scholar at the prestigious ITC Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata under his tutelage.
She has had her initial training from Vidushi Geeta Hegde, based in Bangalore.

Anagha was selected as a fellow of the ONEBEAT program in 2023, an initiative by Found Sound Nation and the United States Department of State's Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs, where she collaborated with musicians from diverse backgrounds around the world.
​
She has also conducted Masterclasses & workshops on Indian Classical Music for students in India & abroad, at institutions such as CODARTS in Rotterdam, Netherlands, The Bhavan in London.
​
Anagha was selected for the ETHNO music project in Germany and Belgium in 2014 , where she collaborated with western folk and classical musicians and presented concerts.
The Lahari Recording Company released Anagha’s debut classical album ‘Aadya’ in the year 2010.

As a part of the Kalaatmika Research initiative by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts and the National Institute of Advanced Studies, Anagha worked on exploring the Raaga - Time Associations in Hindustani vocal music and presented her research work in conferences held at the Centre for Music and Science , University of Cambridge , UK and at the Institute of Systematic Musicology, University of Hamburg , Germany.

Anagha holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering and a Master's degree in Hindustani vocal music and in Psychology.
